I am a Data Scientist at VG, Norway’s largest news destination.

Outside the newsroom, my lastest NLP projects include the development and deployment of several topic models with LDA via a plumber api. Shiny apps are some of my favorite tools for prototyping, visualizing data and creating dashboards. Rmarkdown helps me document and reproduce.

Inside the newsroom, I was honored to contribute to 3 Norwegian Pulitzer winning projects in 2016, 2018 and 2019 for The unlawful use of physical restraints in Norwegian psychiatric wards, Tolga and the consequences of the Health Reform.

I am a R enthusiast and co-founder of the RLadies Oslo chapter. I have a master degree in Economics from The Norwegian Business School BI, where I am a guest lecturer.
